TANNER MENARD

see eye my memory my

sweet grass in my car.

carved stick on the curved road.

drum me water turning of the wheel.

left driving wind catches moon streak.

road of tires unfolds blue light.

water splash my face tuning.

song lane light of you.

cast-iron journey wet furls your tentacled light.

boom white a body of me.

arrive at red memory.

a memory jacket imbued in black.

imbued light of a hundred prayers.

light of phone call calls me back.

light entwines memory.

they say it’s all there in front of me.

coo of an old man’s memory.

coo creates universe of electrical dirt.

memory staff of me.

staff electric of me.

lights an NDN of me.

i'm more NDNr when i'm singing.

shout song of morning.

feather lightning light fan expands.

sun NDN's rising in a wind canvas.

sweep the tracks clean of me.

dirt the light orange morning vesper.

whisper the hipster out of you.

vesper a rattle of your energy coiled.

arise a sunrise in your throat.

raptor jumps out of your mouth and circles you.

circles a tipi of you.

implodes a miracle of your mind.

blow out a glitter of spirit.

grows a flower of your sorrow.

tornadoes your eye level.

ash hurricanes a sensation of verity.

when you see them then you see them.

then you know them when you know them.

then you touch the earth of them.

then you melt a medicine of them.

when you see them then you rainbow.

not as in flags or contrivances,

as in the light between you.

as in the pointless vector of supernova.

as in star you away of you.

as in jump a celestial hoop through you.

as in rainbow an eagle together with you.

as in me a not me of you.

as in you a not you of me.

as in braid a grass of us sweet.

as in braid a rainbow of your star hair.

as in a braid of helical stillness.

grandpa pops in agreement of us.
