Arianne True (Choctaw, Chickasaw) is a queer poet, folk artist, and teacher from Seattle who has worked and written everywhere from the temperate rainforest canopy to the rocky edges of the Salish Sea. Currently, Arianne is an MFA candidate at the Institute of American Indian Arts, a field agent with Atlas Obscura, and a teaching artist with Writers in the Schools.
